My name is Esther Chipasi from Lusaka, Zambia. Having had previously purchased a vehicle from South Africa using a local Zambian car dealer, and having had gone through great difficulties with claiming back VAT on my purchase, and also with the vehicle coming in from SA to Zambia, I decided to find out if there was an easier way to claim my VAT and also just for my vehicle to come in hassle-free. This is how I stumbled upon Ultimate Vehicle Solutions (UVS) in October 2019, through a friend who had used them. He had very good reviews on them and he assured me that they were legit.
I then decided to contact Neil, he was very helpful and assured me that he had helped quite a number of people from Zambia too. I had at that point already found some vehicles that Neil was gracious enough to help me check, and see if details provided were genuine. He conducted these searches on First Check free of charge and gave me the reports. He actually saved me, as I was given some false information on the year of make on one of the vehicles. When we eventually agreed on the vehicle, a Ford Ranger Wildtrak, I transferred the funds over SAR 400k into the UVS South African account. I must admit it was a very scary thing to do, but I had assurance from my friend who had used them, that this was the way. Ours was a long story of patience on Neil’s part, and I will forever be grateful to Neil for the many times I called, and all the times he kept me informed of progress on my purchase. Because we hit an unexpected bump with the Ford dealership I was getting the vehicle from, which caused a delay in the release of the vehicle, and because I had requested that UVS fill my tank up, as I was picking up the vehicle from our border, Neil totally refused that I refund him the money for the full tank of fuel he had put. As his way of apology for the bump, which was in no way his fault, but that of the Ford dealership, who sent an email too. Neil was very supportive and was also readily available on WhatsApp, even after hours. I will definitely be using this company again and I highly recommend them.
